Nothing quite solidifies a new brand like successful coast-to-coast launch parties. Making appearances in four key markets (Miami, Chicago, Seattle, and the leading Irish whiskey market, Boston), The Quiet Man Irish Whiskey was anything but quiet. Exquisite settings, live bands, menus full of custom-tailored cocktails, and appearances at all the events by the brand’s founder Ciaran Mulgrew made these invitation-only affairs the talk of the town. Each attendee was given a postcard with tasting notes and key selling points, and the events were supported by point-of-sale items. Every element of the launch parties perfectly complimented the brand and its award-winning first year on the market. Ciaran Mulgrew decided to name his first Irish Whiskey after his father, John Mulgrew. Over the 50 years of John’s career behind the bar, he heard and saw everything, but stayed true to the bartender’s code and told no tales. His humble approach earned him the title“The Quiet Man,” or as they say in Ireland, “An Fear Ciuin.”
