Construction at Lux Row Distillers is full speed ahead! The grading of the area is complete, as are the foundations and footings on which the building will eventually sit. All of the underground utilities are in place as well as the electrical framework, and the gravel base for roads and parking lots have also been finished. In the coming weeks, the steel work will be finalized, creating the main framework of beams and columns for the building.

It’s no secret that Luxco’s whiskey portfolio is receiving more attention year over year. One way for us to highlight these brands is through trade shows and activations dedicated solely to whiskey in order to interact directly with those who feel passionate about the spirit. In the month of November, we had a strong presence at two well-known events – WhiskyFest and Whiskey in the Winter.

As one of Luxco’s focus brands in 2016, Exotico® Tequila launched a concentrated marketing campaign this summer in three key markets: Dallas, Denver, and Chicago. Debuting its new creative look, the campaign involved a large-scale experiential sampling program and strategic placement of radio ads around key holidays

Congratulations to Rob Boas on being awarded the Paul A. Lux Award. Since Luxco’s purchase of Paramount Distillers in late 2011, Rob has been a great leader in heading up all of our efforts in Cleveland. He has carried the Luxco flag proudly and has worked closely alongside David, Chris, and Craig to accomplish some rather lofty capital projects and production requirements. All along, he simply did his job and got it all done…on time! Well done Rob!

You could call him Luxco’s jack of all trades, but most refer to him as Dale Naumann. Having worked on the line, in bottle dumping, in processing mixing juice, and currently on the palletizer, Dale has performed nearly all of the warehouse jobs at Luxco.

A privately held and predominately employee-owned American supermarket, WinCo Foods is based out of Boise, Idaho with 109 locations throughout the United States. With several of Luxco’s brands placed in a large number of their locations, WinCo plays a crucial role as a retailer for many of Luxco’s top performers.

Ducks Unlimited®, the world’s leader in wetlands and waterfowl conservation, joins Lord Calvert® Canadian Whisky in a newly announced partnership that celebrates both brands’ shared passion for the outdoors as well as their strong Canadian heritage.

Almost two years ago, Luxco began its partnership with Limestone Branch Distillery, a family-owned craft distillery in Lebanon, Kentucky operated by brothers Steve and Paul Beam. With a history of distilling on both sides of their family – Beam and Dant – the brothers are seventh-generation distillers. One of the main goals of the partnership was to bring Yellowstone® Kentucky Straight Bourbon back to its roots and continue to craft the finest bourbon.

Rebel Yell® has had an ace in its back pocket for a while now. That unknown wildcard is the all-new, meticulously aged Rebel Yell 10-Year Bourbon. Not only is this ultra-premium bourbon of the highest drinking quality, it is also a magnificent shelf piece and collector’s item for true bourbon connoisseurs.

Partaking in a cross-country trek, these motorcycles, their builders, and our Rebel Yell® bourbon made their way to the 76th Annual Sturgis® Motorcycle Rally™ in Sturgis, South Dakota for a memorable week of bourbon and bikes. Undoubtedly, the Rebels Uncaged program brought a mountain of new experiences, victories, hurdles, and excitement to the Rebel Yell brand this summer.

Hotel Monteleone was the host for 2016’s Tales of the Cocktail, which featured Exotico® Tequila in a format that engaged consumers in a fun and interactive way. This event offered a great opportunity for tequila drinkers to get a closer look at the brand identity and culture behind Exotico Tequila.

For the second year in a row, Everclear® brought back its Make It Your Own® campaign to the 2016 Tales of the Cocktail event in New Orleans, Louisiana. As spokesperson for Make It Your Own, Ted Kilgore came along to educate guests on the many uses and benefits of experimenting with Everclear in mixology.
