Springtime has been busy at Lux Row Distillers™. Sunny skies and warmer temperatures have helped, as construction has been moving right along in the Bardstown countryside.

By engaging with bar and nightlife professionals, we are bringing awareness of Exotico® Tequila to the on-premise crowd.

Davin Torrence began working at Luxco’s Kemper production facility in August 2016. He provides solutions to various production issues, such as bottles that come down the line with bad caps, improper fill lines, and crooked labels.

Ashley Stanko joined Luxco in August of 2015 as a Field Marketing Manager for Control States after working as a Pennsylvania State Manager for Bacardi. Her main responsibilities include assisting Control State Division Managers with marketing efforts by tailoring marketing initiatives for execution in each Control State.

In 1987, Linda Chavez was waiting tables at Lou Boccardi’s, where the Luxco team usually has their holiday luncheon. She enjoyed listening to the business conversations of the group and found them to be interesting.

In 1982, Jeff Jones joined the Luxco team at the Kemper location as Miscellaneous. He worked on a variety of tasks; hand packing bottles, inspecting and dumping glass, and learning about the various other jobs around the facility.

We are excited to introduce the newest addition to our award-winning Ezra Brooks family—Ezra Brooks® Straight Rye, a genuine straight rye whiskey made from the finest ingredients available and bottled at an honest 90 proof.

El Mayor® and Exotico® Tequila were recognized for their excellence in quality at the 2017 Global Tequila Masters and the 2016 New York International Spirits Competition. The Global Tequila Masters is one of the most renowned and impartial blind tasting competitions in the world, while the New York International Spirits Competition is the first major international spirits competition with trade-only judges.

Nothing can stop Everclear® from hosting a successful event with the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG). Not even a Nor’easter that hit Portland, Maine, in late January.

Limestone® Branch Distillery introduced Minor Case Straight Rye Whiskey in February, featuring straight rye whiskey with a sherry cask finish and bottled at 90 proof. “We are excited to share our family heritage and proud to honor our great-grandfather with the release of this product,” said Steve Beam

St. Louis is a hockey town, and it was quite evident this winter as the city came together to watch some one-of-a-kind games. The 2017 NHL Winter Classic festivities brought together two of St. Louisans’ favorite things – Blues hockey and Busch Stadium.

Things are happening at Lux Row Distillers! In late December, the steel beams that will frame and support the distillery were secured, and the masonry for the elevator and still tower were completed.
